Lorain County Community College is now offering the Computer and Digital Forensics program. This Associate of Applied Science degree prepares graduates with the necessary skills to find employment as computer forensics analysts, electronic and cyber discovery specialist, and a general computer engineering technologist. The majority of local and regional organizations from the following sectors have expressed have indicated their immediate need to hire graduates of this program or to use it to update the skills of their current employees: Law enforcement (local, state, and federal); law firms; software development companies; large accounting firms; banks, and insurance organizations with large computer networks. Additionally, graduates can start their own businesses with little capital requirement. Students will complete an ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited program that guarantees transfer of credits.
